Terms of Service

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States, Canada, or Australia. We do not currently accept applicants from other countries.
• You must provide accurate information. Submitting false identification, work history, or tax identifiers will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.
• One account per person. Multiple-account abuse leads to permanent ban.

You apply to a posted role by completing the application form, which includes identity verification documents. Our team manually reviews each application, typically within 24 hours. Possible outcomes:

• Approved / Hired — you'll be onboarded to the role and assigned a starting rate. Your worker portal will reflect your status.
• Manual review requested — we need more information from you. We'll email you with what we need.
• Declined — we're unable to move forward at this time. We may or may not include a reason.

Submitting an application does not create an employment relationship and does not guarantee an offer.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or impersonated information.
• Attempt to access another user's account or our administrative interfaces without authorization.
• Scrape the site, automate applications, or use bots.
• Upload malware, viruses, or files unrelated to your application.
• Use the Platform to harass, threaten, defraud, or discriminate against any other user.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit access to the Platform.

• Applying to roles is free. We will never ask you to pay an upfront fee, deposit, or "onboarding fee" to apply.
• If you are hired, your hourly rate is set by us in writing in your worker portal. Wages owed are calculated as hours worked × hourly rate, minus wages already paid.
• Payments to workers are made by us on a regular cadence (typically weekly) by bank transfer or supported payment method. You are responsible for any taxes due in your country.
• We do not request your bank password, debit-card PIN, cryptocurrency wallet keys, or remote-access credentials at any point. Anything claiming otherwise is a scam — report it to support@remoteworkers.online.

You retain all rights to the information, documents, and files you upload. By uploading them, you grant us a limited, revocable, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display them solely for the purpose of evaluating your application and operating any resulting engagement. We do not use your content for marketing, advertising, or training machine-learning models.

• You can close your account at any time by emailing support.
• We can suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, fraudulent activity, or by court / regulatory order. Suspensions are generally followed by an email explaining the reason.
• On termination, your KYC documents are deleted per our Privacy Policy retention schedule. Engagement records retained per tax law.

The Platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that you will be hired, that any specific role will remain available, or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Platform is limited to the greater of (a) wages actually paid to you in the preceding 12 months and (b) US $100.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost wages, business interruption, or lost data) except where this limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute that cannot first be resolved informally.

Before filing any formal claim, the parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution by email for at least 30 days.

We will post material changes on this page and email registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance.
